Tuesday, November 26, 2013j Rockville News continued from page 14 prevents advising or encouraging suicide. Consequently, it is now legal to do this in Minnesota; this is wrong; it puts our state on the path to law sanctioned suicide. Final Exit's lawyer bragged that the decision was a "Grand slam" victory for the group's pro-death efforts. The case is going to be ap- pealed to the Minnesota Supreme Court, where another assisted suicide case is pending. This is our opportunity...all prolifers to uphold the sanctity of human life in the press and in the public are- na. Ultimately we will go back to the legislature to protect vulnera- ble people from the Final Exit death mongers. We need to nip this in the bud. It's easier to stop evil before it starts, rather than after it has become entrenched (as abortion has); MCCL is ready and willing to work on this aspect of the life issue because every human being matters, at every stage of their life, from the unborn to the elder- ly.
