Currently they're looking for more support/contributions from anyone and everyone. They must raise $33 million to build the campaigns of courage: European and Pacific theaters to help fi- nance construction of the newly expanded Museum. It will com- prise more than 5 acres over 4 city blocks, with 300,000 sq. ft. of space. A central parade ground will set the stage for ceremonies, presentations and a space for visitors to reflect and for the community to celebrate our vet- erans. There will also be a honor roll. Names will be displayed on an interactive kiosk prominently lo- cated near the entrance to the museum where all visitors will see it. All names will also be list- ed in a searchable database on the museum's website so all Americans may view these names, even if they cannot visit the museum. The National V~VII Memorial is located in Washington, DC and is a fitting memorial to our veteran's but it is not a museum and has no exhibits, artifacts or facilities for telling the story of WWII. This National WWII Mu- seum is an educational experi- ence where people come and learn about the defining event of the 20th Century.
